We are a production house based in the valley of Kashmir, operating out of Srinagar with a branch office in Mumbai. The idea of a production house came after we shot a music video for the Icelandic band called Sigor Rus in the year 2012. It was an entry to the Valtari Film Experiment and also a tribute to a friend. The film was very well received and appreciated. Through the process of filming we realised that Kashmir is full of magical spaces and amazing people. A space with a lot of history and depth in its past, we felt it had to be shared for the world to see. We want to make films which tell stories of Kashmir, the people, the tourism, local businesses, the environment and more.
Since its inception, Victory films has been involved in making films, line producing, collaborating with production houses/film makers from around the world and getting in doing so employing the locals from Kashmir for various projects. Its our constant effort to get Kashmir noticed for its stunning locales which are available for filming. We have a pool of talented, enthusiastic people who work for us relentlessly and help in delivering world class films.
